Is the Epsilon program and Cris Formage technically a scam organization ?

Hey I've been wonderin' for a while whether that organization itself and it's leader is basically a scam/fake, since in some of the missions I encountered while playing Micheal, he is always the one guy in the program to get screwed over (money stolen from him) and beaten up, and I was kinda wonderin' whether this is a cult thing or this is intentionally done to scam other people especially Micheal.

Hold up a sec... if you're sayin' in an ironic way that all cults in GTA V is a scam (including Epsilon), how the ♥♥♥♥ does the other members of the so called "cult" get to be so loyal to their "spiritual" leader knowing full fact that they are scamming people, and that they are also being scammed and ripped off ?

If you get to the mission where you have to drive a Car a few metres over to a Chopper, shoot everyone as soon as you leave the car. Otherwise you wont get your money back.

The epsilon program's GTA's take on Scientology.It calls itself a religion where it isn't and makes you leave everyone you know and love behind.They drain your assets and create an artificial dependency.

That being said,the reason why you move that much money in the final mission of the epsilon program for Micheal is that the epsilon program wasn't taken as a religion any longer...means all that money Chris Formage moves wasn't taxed and would've been,if he would've kept it in the same place.
