If I uninstall and then reinstall gta will I lose my hours played and my progress in-game?

I might have to reinstall it due to my mods working and then suddenly not working, so will I lose my total hours played on it so far and my progress in-game?

No, because your progress is saved in \Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles

If you don't delete this folder, for example by removing and reinstalling windows, you're fine.

Just activate cloud saving in the game (HOME button on keyboard, then settings) and all saves are in the cloud. Even on new PC you have all singleplayer progress still available. Online progress is saved on R* servers, no matter what.

Just copy ur savefile for single player. Multilayer will be with you as long as you have your social club/steam account

Well that's the problem, I can't enter the game for more than 5 seconds without it crashing now. Didn't used to be like that, though.

Make sure u manually delete the mods, uninstalling will only remove the native gtav files.
