Like I said, it is a common sense thing. You young people need to understand that modding has always been consider cheating, Even in the SNES days with game genie up until now. Just because YOU don't want to admit it does not mean it is not true.
Clearly anyone who says modding is not cheating has to be young since gamers since the Fing nes days knew this.
No, they need to take down the cheaters.
I actually don't much care about people acting ♥♥♥♥♥♥, that's just whatever, but if there's unavoidable ass-tons of cheating as there is with games like PUBG, then my experience with it will be short lived.
Anyone who thinks modding the single player experience is cheating is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane, you have to be a ridiculous megalomaniac to want to have that rigid control over how people play a game you make in the privacy of their home. It's cheating online which is a problem.
Remember that games since the early days often CAME with actual cheats for players to use which they could have gotten rid of. Also many mods don't in fact cheat the game but add a different yet still challenging way of playing it. Mods are great, in fact I come from a time when modding first became popular, and that was with the doom and Quake era.
Id software ENCOURAGED modding because they're cool, they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about how people play the single player game they created, and they like to see the creativity of others putting a twist on a their existing creation so long as it's not screwing other other players online.
To say modding the game in singleplayer is cheating is absolutely INSANE, there's no argument against it that doesn't make you seem like a childish, controlling megalomaniac.
To cheat is to leverage an unfair advantage, and there are so many mods and total conversions out there for so many games, which simply don't accomplish this, thus it's a completely baseless claim to say that modifying and adding content to an existing game always qualifies as cheating.
And seriously what kind of psychotic crab bucket mentality is it to care about whether somebody who you don't know uses cheats to play a game you released into the world?
See folks you have here is someone who does not like hearing the truth, and goes on a epic rant moving the goal post.
I stated a simple fact, Changing a game any game from the developers vision of said game is cheating that is it.
That is all the point i am making, The community does not like to read the truth, so go on this rant about how modding is ok, or devs allow it, blah blah. Had nothing to do with anything. That does not change the fact at all.
If I make a game, and you change said vision of game by modding it. You are cheating in my game. It is not a big deal like you all making it out to be.
I mean I understand this community is so warped, that they are trying to change what is well known by most people.
You can cheat in single player games, and modding is a form of cheating.
Sorry if you all want to go on some epic rant about it. It is not like cheating in single player games is bad. Noone even said that, I'm just here to get the facts right. To say modding is not cheating is false.

-- This game is from from the worst-
but sandboxes games such as GTA where people would actually spend some of their money to destroy your shipment and camp your spawn for 0 rewards but their own twisted pleasure while you're just minding your pve business are different ( and not gonna talk about heist leavers and the amount of script kiddies that this game is famous for), GTA online is one of a kind in terms of toxicity for many reasons
