Is FiveM (roleplay servers) worth playing?

So I downloaded it and when I started one of the servers, it all started with a survey with weird questions about server rules. I answered most of them with a help of google but after 5 tries I still couldn't answer enough questions to get into the server.

Then I had to wait in a queue to join another server and after a long wait I got kicked out.

When I see that huge server list idk where to even start but I love watching gta rp on twitch and I feel like that's a great experience. But I wouldn't even know how to get a job if I got into a server.

I'm happy with gta online but I see so many people playing exactly gta rp and I wanna ask you, would you recommend me trying it again or is it just worse than gta online and it's not worth it after all. I really value my time and I don't want to spend it on nothing.

The only difference from my experience so far is the FiveM's actually has server (mostly are crappy but there's that) instead relying in Peer to Peer on GTA Online. Problem is FiveM has ping limit which is sucks if you don't have very fast and very stable network access.

Of course different servers have their own ToS, so try to search about each servers before playing there.

Though until now T2 hasn't take the action, yet.

But yeh, playing community servers will potentially bans your account because f*ck you and give your more money for their sh*tty Shark Cards.

I went through a time , where that is what I wanted to do as I watched for many hours on twitch. Tried so many servers "WASTED" so many hours as come to find out 90% of the server owners are CONTROL freaks via the way they want you to play on there server. They play silent favorites to players who give them $ so P2W sorta. 100% of the servers want you to obey stupid traffic laws , like never speeding in city ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so it takes you 4 EVER to do delivery missions.

When they start a new server and you don't join one they the ADMINS give out huge salaries to all jobs so there friends can make $ "legit" then they nerf the $ down to nothing if and when the server gets some population.

Servers are like "favorite" flavor of the month , I wasted almost 2 months on a server because it was always populated and thriving till the "owners" made so many bad changes in trying to control to much of what the players did that the 'fun" was lost and we warned them in the direction they were going but there EGO always gets in the way and the server DIED almost overnight. As they went to heavy in cops and robbers when no one wanted to play cops.

IMO don't waste your time, even the best RP server that are on twitch the only reason why they still play and aren't bored to death is because they getting paid a lot from subs and donations. I would never give $1 to that crap. Nuff said!

i have tried out fiveM, not really to my liking, it is totally a whole new world from GTAVO, with roleplay rule thingy. i uninstall fiveM on the day after i tried it out.

The only people who play GTA RP are the people who can't hack it in the real world and need to play pretend cop in their mom's basement to feel like they've accomplished something in their sad, lonely miserable lives.

Cool bro, you can successfully pay you virtual car insurance, show up to your virtual pizza slinging job and register your virtual firearms! If you weren't such a sad sack of meatjuice you might be able to do that in the real world too
