stop complaining and get on with it.
edit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell i sound like an old fart, must be getting old or something:P
or devs are too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soft on players.
I’m a vanilla WoW player I know all the pains of old school raiding. Finding and organising all those people was a nightmare and then there was the Ninjas. Good times. Still play.
Anyway. We’ll just keep going and hopefully we won’t run into too many Jesus gamers.
The rewards suck too. That 40-man came with a chance of getting unique stuff that couldn't find anywhere else in the game, but your heist will only get you more generic money no matter how many times you do it.
It's pretty easy to organize coordinated grinding efforts and to dominate whole sessions.
And the game has built-in VoIP as well, but it's not really necessary at all in GTAO.
Indeed, it's the lazyness and self-entitlement for instant gratification of todays generation of gamers.
It seems that the first thing after installation of a new game, is googling for cheats, mods and hacks.
I have read a lot of stories of players leaving hesit missions if all of the prep is not done. What is the point? They're missing content. Why bother playing the game. I really enjoyed doing the prep work. Building up to do the final bank job. It was exciting. I like to take my time, get into it. Far more fun.
Not just hacking, modding, or buying Shark Cards. Wheres the point.
This happens more often then not, on occasions you might come across a good samaritan. In a game like gta this is rare, considering it's filled with lil badasses.
All of the heists superseding fleeca are locked to 4 players. The doomsdays ones can be done with 2/3/4, all of them, they're more costly upfront but far more rewarding overall, they're pretty hard tho if you ever become interested in doing them.
You can also play contact missions, alone or with a friend.
CEO open world activities can be solo'd or also played with a friend or 3
They want a lot of money fast, but don't want to work through all the setups.
On the other hand, the same kind of are then so audacious to demand a 20% or 25% cut in the finale, totally ignoring that the heist leader has to pay quite a chunk of setup fee already.
How I do it:
If you didn't help in at least 2 setups, you only get a 15% cut.
If you helped (almost) all setups, you get 20%.
If you demand ludicrous cuts, you're down to 10%.
If you still complain, you get kicked.
Happy to see so many like minded people on the subject of the Online player base. Such a shame it only takes a few plebs to give gamers such a bad name. But then again that's true for everything. People are people.
it is the true way to play
trolling and griefing in a toxic community relying on randos
And they become really fun, when everyone knows what to do, and how to streamline the process.
And as always, with a crew or friends, you don't need to rely on randoms, and won't get trolled.
Of course, with the frequent disconnects because of bad connections, the old heists with their mandatory 4 players are a bit of a problem.
The new Doomsday heists are better, because you can continue playing, even if one or two players disconnect.
better seek for a perma heist crew to get all bonuses
https://www.reddit.com/r/HeistTeams/
"all in order" 1million
"played with the same crew" another million
There are also stories about greedy hosts, who won't invite their old crews for the finals
They use the same excuses as globefish uses for their greed, seeking for a fresh team to tell them you haven't supported me during the setups, so you get only 15%.
It works in both directions.
The whole cut system creates many struggles with randos. people get butthurt, because they don't get what they asked for and start to sabotage the whole mission.
R* has a talent to trigger the worst in people through game design
sometimes it is getting boring in heaven
