Online option not showing up on the main menu
The problem

The option to launch the game directly into online is not working properly.

Every time I try to load directly into online it tells me I have to complete the prologue first. I've beaten the game multiple times and my last loaded save is after the final mission.

When I enter the game the option to join online through the main menu is not there, and the latest adversary series is not showing either.

What I've tried so far
Deleted my Social Club cache
Reinstalled Social Club
Reinstalled the game
Verified the game cache
Previously reinstalled Windows 10
Reinstalled Steam

What the hell?
Am I overlooking something? I've tried everything and i'm really at the end of my rope here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1) Navigate to Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V/Profiles and make a copy of the folder in that directory (for backup) and paste it somewhere else (ie: desktop folder).

2) Open the original folder and delete the "pc_settings.bin" file.

3) Launch the game again and go into Story Mode.

4) From Story Mode press escape, scroll to the Online tab, choose to play GTA Online and choose an "Invite Session".

Once you are in the invite session log off of the game through the escape menu. After it closes start the game again and verify that the splash screen now has the correct options.

This worked for me.

tl;dr - Rename my documents / rockstar games to rockstar games-old.

Literally what was posted below - and covers other aspects if below doesn't work.
repeat eula, calibration, save issues, onedrive, etc.
