Since the e-mail comes randomly, do I need to leave my game running to get it, or can I expect it to come when I wake up and start Online? I really want that gun...

It's been longer than that right now, and has been for the past few hours-long sessions since the DLC's release. I'm gonna leave it for a bit while I'm away, so I hope the mail comes.

I've restarted the game.

I've also been told by a few people in a session that I need to wait for the mail while I'm in a specific area, like the cemetery. Can anyone confirm this?
