Facility Security Room worth it?

If I want to spend the least amount of money possible but want all worthwhile features, is this worth spending $700k on?

No, not worth it unless you have money to throw around. The facility is actually fine stock if you want to save money.

IMO living quarters is the only worthwile upgrade if you are on a budget. Fairly cheap at 150k if you want to spawn in your facility.

I would seriously consider buying a closer facility. I've done 5/6 mission item setups on the second part and one or 2 setups and most of the stuff you need is 7 miles away from the cheapest facility.

Pretty much anything but the cheapest one will be better. Center of the map is even better. It's worth it. But then again you probably won't touch these hiests that don't pay much so eh...

This is good advice. Pick one close to center of the map.
- The Route 68 might be the best one (worth the 2.3M), since you can spawn any of your personal air vehicles right next to the entrance. And it's in a good location.
- Also the cheaper one at the windpark at 1.8M seems like a good choice. Close to the highway and central on the map.

what are you talking about "they don't pay much" ?
The setups pay up to 45k
and you can finish the finals easily with 2 players.
