Can you use the money from a shark card in story mode?

Before I buy a ♥♥♥♥ ton of shark cards and the game, I just wanna ask if you can use shark card money in story mode (single player)

why would you want it for story mode when you can cheat in money in single player

As [-iD-] said, shark card money is for online only. Money isn't hard to make in single player, after just a couple hours you should have enough to cover weapons and ammo. Best to skip upgrading/modding cars in single player since there's no way to truly own them and they'll disappear. You can if you want, but it's a waste IMO. You also don't need to worry about places to live/spawn, the game unlocks those for you automatically as you progress through the story.

However, if you want to own the best business properties in single player like the golf course (simply to accumulate more money), hold off doing the Lester assassination missions with Franklin. The trick is to get as much money in your bank from doing other missions/heists, then go all in on the stock market based on the expected impact of the assassination. There's guides you can find that describe which stock to buy for each assassination to maximize the return on your investment.

you can't get banned for modding single player, you can get banned for entering online with mods enabled, though most mods won't even let you go online while they are installed. For something as mundane as money, I'd suggest cheat engine, no need to install any mods.

Yea Cheat Engine was what I thought. But for the sake of the gameplay, I think its best to not use any mods before i beat the game or else theres no point of playing lul... Thx
