Megalodon Shark Cards, How often do they go on sale?
I also wonder what they do for sales usually.. I know at times they keep it at same price but if you buy one you get a % more.. I also wonder if on sale.. how much cheaper do they get normally?

... if you don't like the scheme don't join in on it.
And that is what I was suggesting him to do. It's a bad scheme. Everyone should avoid joining in on it. I dunno why such a level of hostility would come from my comment.

There is nothing wrong with shaming those who should be ashamed.

I'm not shaming. Shaming would be mocking/insulting them for buying Shark Cards, making fun of someone for buying shark cards. Which is not what I did. All I did was mention the problem that is Shark Cards as one of the reasons for major problems in GTA Online, and it's predatory monetization scheme that revolves around Griefing/Grinding. So trying to derail my comment like that isn't going to work.

how shark cards is a problem tho. if they weren't a thing, t2/r* would've cut online development long time ago. even tho they put only a small fraction of it to actual dlcs, still it's nice that someone still bothers funding it.

On their own they're not a problem. It has more to do with the Monetization scheme they developed from it about a year after GTA Online came out. When they monetized Griefing/Grinding. After the Finance and Felony Update Rockstar pushed everything into Public Lobbies, well most everything. Most updates since have been Public Lobby Mission based Business. Missions in which they intentionally paint a bullzeye on users doing said missions. Whether it's source crates, stealing supplies, or doing heist setup missions (Though Heist Setups do not have to be done in Public Lobbies they do Require being a CEO which causes a lot of people not to know you could do them in Invite Only Sessions). Let alone Sell Missions for all the business. Mean while they add vehicles that literally cost about as much as a top tier Shark Card like the Oppressor MKII which is specifically made to be an idiot proof griefing machine, as it also requires a the TB and upgrade station inside of it which ironically cost about as much as a top Shark Card.

When GTA Online first became a thing, none of this kind of nonsense existed. Heck they still have a Griefing Report feature back when Griefing as actually a bad thing on GTA Online.

But once they monetized Griefing, well. That is the problem. Even before then the hyper inflation imposed even before Finance and Felony like multi million dollar super cars, made the value of Shark Cards drop considerably. They're really not worth buying anymore, unless you spend every penny of that Shark Card on assets that can make you money in game.

Over all it's technically a scheme, a very unfair one at that. Sharkcards were worth buying, and honestly I wouldn't have a problem with them at all back in the days when the most expensive vehicles were 5-6 figures. Regardless of the new content GTA Online would still be a thing without it. GTA IV still had an active multiplayer community even after GTA V came out. GTA V's multiplayer wouldn't of been abandoned either way.

People play the game to spend real money because they dont want to play the game.
But I will admit I am happy they pay for all the dlcs and not me so theres that.

i don't know how freemode businesses monetize it tbh. you could tell the same about deathmatches/races or other pvp modes then. if you suck at it, you will get low pay when winner takes the pie.

with all the businesses, new heists combined, all the 2x events, money making is so braindead
easy now, i don't even see how people can possibly still complain about making cash in this game. finally take casino heist. compared to regular payouts per hour prior it, it completely broke economy towards players interest.

it's kind of hilarious when 80-90% of people complaining never really bought shark cards themselves. and most of the remaining ones just got banned from game and come here to lay off their butthurt.
Shark cards are now almost 8 years old, they never got any new shark cards
i refer the shark cards to cancer cards since 8 million wont get you anywhere now (if not buying a ♥♥♥♥ ton of them)

Death Matches and Racing, you're normally not spending About 1 million on supplies MC/Bunker business combined to stock them up. Let alone the cost of sourcing crates which is considerably more collectively.

If you're playing a fair death match mode you do not even have to buy ammo/weapons as they're provided in the match for you. Same goes for Racing, with the only real risk being placing Bets and that is optional when Racing.

Also Death Match modes, and Racing Modes are not in Public Sessions with Bullseyes marked on your back for an Oppressor MKII to fly by and fire a few super accurate Ruiner Missiles then call you a scrub for dying. I could imagine if they forced all Racing into Public Sessions, the car community would go ballistic. lol

well, you still spend your time in them. and time is worth more than some money. i don't really think main purpose of these businesses was to make people play a delivery simulator. it's more of some expansion of free mode, some almost actual criminal organisations rp. but people just got too fixated that they must be able to do everything solo and without resistance for some reason. or that they have to get everything in more or less couple days, because it's GTA and GTA is not something you must put effort in. but online is just not build like that. it's kind of legit RPG, where you slowly build up your char and expand your small empire. so it's natural that eventually stuff gets more expensive/harder to obtain.

but does the average player, who is not really interested in playing game for a longer time actually need it, all those fancy cars and what not? hell, even i don't. i could easily live in this game with a pistol, rifle and a cheap bike. everything else is just not necessary.. idk, i just see lots of logic errors when it comes down to people complaining about mts in this game.
