After learning the setups, casino layout, guard locations, and camera locations - it becomes pretty easy to formulate an (almost) foolproof plan to complete the heist flawlessly on all routes. Even 'hard' mode isn't so bad - as long as the game doesn't jank out. A bit of advice - do as many preps as you have access to. The heist becomes a cakewalk when the guards are as combat effective as a roided up ant.
It takes myself and my heist partner about 2-4 hours to set up the heist, depending on how much we mess around. A further hour or two, and the heist is complete, depending on what route we take. On a 'big con' we did recently, we ended up with 1.1m/player. 50/50 split.
On the other hand, Doomsday heist is significantly more difficult, and the payout is pitiful considering how much time you'll spend doing it in a duo. The finale is the most difficult mission in the game (imo), and it took about two weeks for myself and my old heist partner to brute force our way through it. Even though we completed the heist, my partner still quit gta:o out of anger and frustration. I don't think he's been back in the game since.
So - If you are in a duo, do Casino heist if you want some quick, grindable money. Do Doomsday heist if you want to torture yourself, or are just plain insane. Mad respect to anyone who slogs through it in a duo.
And here's a tip to ruin the fun of GTAOL and a big reason why some of us buy a facility as soon as we have the money, "Bogdan Glitch", this is a forbidden knowledge, if one knows it too early, it has proven to drive people insane, becomes a zombie, doing nothing but grinding it, refuse to make new friends, refuse to try new things, something like that, I would highly recommend against it unless one can control themself, you could try google it, it should be all over.
casino is overly complicated but it is a fair amount faster if you do repeat and is honestly a bit more interesting to play each time, ether method is good i just prefer bogdan for simplicity
it's also alot easier to get randoms in bogdan then casino. you can just make them fly the avenger, any noob can do that. i'v never had a rando get blown up by the heli's
if anything they sometimes crash the avenger. but it usually goes pretty smoothly.
