Even though Take2 has fil;ed cease and desist orders against the actual menu makers, since they are in countries that we cant do anything about (China, Russia etc) nothign can eb done to shut them down. Yet dumb ass Americans who want to stroke it online sell thier souls to these foriegn coders. Yet they whine when these same coders participate in Election / Social manipulation. Don't think many of these are the same acxtors... Learn to understand Chinese and Soviet foreign trade policy. Most "companies" in these countries especially China, are owned by the Government. So there is heavy crossover between civillian and military work. The sdame company that makes networking hardware to sell on the world market, also manufactures Military grade hacking tools tom manipulate that hardware if need be,

But I digree, overall modders need to go.

MY SOLUTION. Take away the one thing they have that keeps some members of the community on their side, MONEY!. Offer a bounty for reporting Modders, especially when concrete proof is used (ie video, chat logs) Say give them 10% of the modders in game worth or a million game dollars.

Trust me these kids that "like" modders cause they do money drops, will start using the report feature diligently!

All this misplaced anger, rockstar is going to enjoy suckers like you when they once again do nothing like they continued with rdr2 which has the same mod menus.

there is nothing to protect in this case, its a public ip address. any peer2peer game will share it with the other connections.

i don't cheat so i wouldn't know, but it doesn't matter, the "mod menu" aspect of this topic is anecdotal.
