Performance Issues with RTX 2060 Super; Ryzen 2600
Good afternoon everyone. Whenever I play this game, my frame rate drops to sub 60 in the city at 1080p with everything set to "very high", no AA, no advanced settings.

I'm looking at bench marks, and I am getting considerably lower frame rates than I should be getting with this build. Bench marks online (variety of YT videos) show that this game should run around 70~90 fps online. Yet, I struggle to maintain 65~ in the city and around 75~ in the country. The casino is the worst, where i maintain a constant ~40fps. Please help.

I run this build on stock clocks.

My build:
GPU: RTX 2060 Super 8GB VRAM
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
RAM:G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200mhz
MB:B450 GAMING PLUS (MS-7B86)

Wow. That's very disappointing, I guess it's really on rockstar. RDR2 runs like a dream compared to this game.

Thank you, stranger.

Turn down everything to high. Ultra high is not necessary and makes little difference.
I have an Rtx 2060 6 gb and ryzen 5 3600 with 16 gb ram, The first time i played and benchmarked gta V it was 100+ fps Then the second day the fps dropped to like 70 i didn't really care because it still didn't lagg then on the third day my fps dropped to 50 fps and now many months later Gta V on very high graphics is 28-40 fps for me But my friend has Gtx 1050 ti 4 gb and ryzen 1600 with 16 gb ram and he plays on very high without lagg how do i fix this?
Edit: I don't have any problems with other triple a games i can play them on high-very high without a problem

R5 1600,RTX 2060 Super,16gb ram
1080p or 1440p ran the same, with highest setting around 40-60ish,no matter if i turn down the setting the performance is still the same
i think its because of the ryzen tbh

my laptop running i7 7700hq,gtx 1060 6gb,16gb ram on 1080p with highest setting running 70-90 fps and not dropping below 60 at all

well intel cpu is known to have higher single core performance, and considering how old this game is,it can't take advantage off ryzen new architecture
