Nono, all cars in the game, flying exploding and acting like rockets, total mayhem, it was what ppl call "a modder" i guess its just a cheater ?, it was like that for like almost 2 hours and then i tried again recently and somehow the tutorial quest is bugged now, and lamar stopped giving me quests after i got the drugs. Seriously i cant believe this game was out for this long and is still top on sales and cant behave properly for at least 5 minutes.
I was about to say that about the single player stuff, but i was worried ppl here would think im the cheater or something
Rockstar promotes grieving.

I'm so sick of the cheating scum. A bounch of looooosers.
You can bypass the scum by using firewall blocking. Guardian is a small firewall app. Super easy SOLO. Easy with friends and auto-whitelist. Very good with proper whitelist.

What I do is just change session until I find one that's low pop. Logged on to play yesterday and landed in a session where I got blown up in seconds after spawning. Waited for re spawn and it happened again, same player. For interest sake I kept re spawning to see what happens, and every time, even when my spawns started to get more remote, this guy blew me up within seconds. Just makes no sense, but I found a quiet session eventually.
It uses a peer-to-peer network, which is also the reason for the long connection times, as it needs to deal with your and 29 other players' internet connection (NAT type).
Using this "public solo session" trick times out your connection, leaving you alone in your own session.
(Which is the fallback option, instead of kicking you out or forcing a new reconnect.)
Try it again!
Make sure you suspend GTAV.exe long enough. I usually use 10 seconds.
(You should disable 'pause on focus loss' in the game's options, otherwise you might get disconnected when Alt-Tabbing.)
Also, make sure you actually suspend the correct process.
Sometimes the list refreshes, pushing GTAV.exe down the moment you want to right-click it.
This is sadly the only feasible method to get away from cheater scum, as pretty much every (full) session has at least one more or less annoying cheater.
Constantly reconnecting takes way too long.
Most_Wanted just explained it, and when that didn't work, he gave you a damn video link. It's in the 6th message here. Don't ask for help then ignore what works. It's super easy.
here it is, AGAIN
press ctrl alt del simultaneously.
open task manager.
performance tab> resource monitor > network tab
right click gta5.exe
click suspend process...
wait for a few seconds
right click gta5.exe
click resume process
click yes to resume process
boom. all the people leave your session.
how is this so difficult?
It basically says to rockstar 'my connection sucks', so they don't have other people connected to you while it does. So you get your own session till it improves. People will eventually trickle back in though, and just give this 5 second trick another go when things seem like they're getting risky again.
Like I said before, it doesn't have to be completely empty to be playable. If you don't bother them they might not bother you and things will be fine for couple of hours like i had last night.
I agree that this shouldn't have to be done in the first place, but it does enable you to escape the mayhem crowds for a little while to get some missions done.
