public forum thanks
You want people to stop commenting on your public post? Then why did you make one in the first place? Oh and by the way- Rockstar never reads any of the discussions on here. Please ditch that 8 year old "gaming" mac and upgrade to windows 10- if you can. Thanks.
You can get a working legit windows key (recycled from businesses upgrading) for less than $5
I partitioned my MacBook Pro, put windows on, and game on it just fine

MacOS has a different... how to say it... It's built differently. To have a game work on it, you'd, usually, have to completely rework it. The same goes for Linux, though many Linux users usually have more knowledge than you or I and can figure some workarounds themselves.
Considering how little money there is in gaming on Mac there's just no initiative for them to do that.
Get an external drive with Windows on it.
It ain't steam's fault, like ID pointed out, mac users are such a minority that many companies do not bother porting games to it. It just isn't worth the effort and cost.
Proof? I have been using and supporting/repairing Macs for years and see no evil in Apple at all. I do see it in Google (♥♥♥♥♥♥ android with NO security, Samsung with their penchant for stealing ideas, it goes on.
But I cannot find anything that matches that in Apple. So, please, elaborate... or STFU with your baseless rhetoric.
MacOS is simple to code in with Swift. Your comment makes no sense. Bet you never even tried, just repeating ♥♥♥♥ you heard from somewhere.
