GTA5 has not been the same since OneDrive sync gone wrong.
I don't know what happened but since OneDrive synced GTA5 I get stuck in a never ending loading screen. I deleted one drive and the entire game but I still get stuck in a never ending loading screen. Please help, I can't play GTA5 at all.

modders have been making it so no one can join the public lobbies in the last 3 months heavily. you can use the mtu de-sync after its tried loading for 30 secs to bypass them and drop yourself into a private lobby tho.

you'll have to repeat the drop to new lobby everytime someone new joins tho to escape the modders relentless greifing =( until you give up all together like me

I can't get in to singleplayer. The game just won't load in general.

i have onedrive, but it doesnt cause me any trouble, maybe try reinstalling it or download driver booster for steam and run the auto-update that should make sure all your software is up to date. if your using iwindows10 your on your own tho, hate that buggy OS....

You could also try to rename/delete r* files in documents and appdata

oh you could have expired on your microsoft visual studio liscense, it has to be redownloaded every 3months or buy it or register on older version through serialz for free

Onedrive works for some - doesn't work for others. Totally depends how you go about disabling, or enabling it. Sometimes the default locations in the registry don't change. Other times you can go to the users / user / documents and force default the location. Sometimes force running steam as admin, or even the .exe's as admin is enough to push it forward.

Sometimes disabling it drops you back to users / username / my docs and you don't have the perms to access that location either. You can rename my docs / rockstar games to -old, and on some systems - they've even needed to manually create the rockstar games folder + sub folders of gta v, social club, and launcher. (and as mentioned %appdata%/local/rockstar games, and programdata/rockstar games being the other 2 folders)

I just fixed it some how... I hope, I started pressing buttons and somehow found left overs from OneDrive that wasn't deleted. In there was a Rockstar Games folder and I replaced the one that was in the Documents folder with the one that OneDrive decided to upload and delete off the hardrive. This has nightmare and I'm never allowing the OneDrive app on my PC ever again. I don't know why that worked and why the game was acting like that in the first place... Any ideas so we can learn something from this?
