I think it's habit or something. There used to be a time when money drops could net millions. I went afk in my apartment a few years back and came back to see 120 million was just automatically deposited on my character. This might have been about 40 minutes I was away (was parked in front of the tv) Obviously that kind of money can't be dropped these days but a lot of people still seem to think it's some magic payday.
None of that matters. You sign a agreement to play when you first attempt to go online, the TOS, or terms of service. You are a liar if you agree then violate your agreement, and you deserve a ban. You don't like the way TT and R* have set up the game? Then go elsewhere. Someone acting poorly is not justification to act unethically, or go back on your word. Why do I even need to explain this??!??
No matter how you 'frame' it, it's still cheating and a violation of the agreed upon TOS, period.
If you don't want a modder to give you money, then change your session.
And the thing where they want 10$ for GTA Money is just stupid, you better just buy a shark card, at least the money will help Rockstar create more games(as if they don't have enough)
