Singleplayer can't play in Offline mode?
Because of the corona virus recently,I went back to my grandma house which phone's data gonna be weak and no wifi available for playing games,so I just log in steam via offline and trying to play GTA V, after booting into the game and it shows Verification Required which means I gotta get internet access to steam to verify this before I can play single player. So I'm here to ask ,is there any possible way that I can disable this feature so that I can play single player without needed internet? I tried solution that I searched online is not functioning.Pleaee help lol

Single player with a connection but either way works ... Logging in on gta with a WiFi connection authenticates the server . Play for a couple of minutes with a connection , leave the game PROPERLY .. turn off WiFi and use offline mode on steam ... and you should be all set ... you can play games in between and don’t have to redo the process but only time you have to repeat the process is when you shut down or reboot your laptop

No. You need to log in once at least and verify your game.
After that you may play in offline mode too.

Use your cellphone for that. Log in, load the game, end the game after this. close steam,
disconnect from internet and restart the game.

you need to log in, online, every time you restart windows/steam.

there effectively is no offline mode for GTA V, without using a crack.

That's exactly what I'm gonna do right now, there's no verify 1time for.the rest of the week. It just trouble me every time I gotta share hotspot for the game before launching . I guess there's no way gonna play it via offline do we ?

there may be a way of doing it, if you bought the game directly from rockstar, and only use the rockstar launcher to launch the game (hint hint, there's no little mouse next to your name, so I'll assume that's you?).

but if you bought the game on steam, like mak and I, then you have to have steam connect to the internet first. It's broken, and it's been broken for 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥' years now

Eh, I pretty much leave Steam running all the time. It's just a matter of clicking the shortcut on my taskbar.

"lol I leave steam running" is hardly a thorough test of whether the game can be launched for definite with no internet.

Shut your computer down. disconnect the internet. start steam in offline mode, try starting the game. Does it work, yes or no?

Log into your Social Club account and run GTA 5. After the game has run, disconnect from your wifi.

If you want to close your computer, Hibernate it
Here's the link on how to turn on Hibernate:
https://windowsreport.com/hibernate-start-menu-windows-10/

And make sure you don't close your Rockstar Launcher

Hibernating your PC or laptop won't close and apps that you've opened

Nope, that's completly false

If you start steam without having an internet connection, steam will start in offline mode, as well as Rockstar social club will start using offline mode as well.
starting GTA5 while Rockstar social club being in offline mode will result in starting GTA 5 running story mode.

No cracks needed for that. but you need to have had run this game at least once while being online before.

You don't need a blowtorch to melt a snowflake. A single 1°C of heat will do. >_>
