Also can go to C:\Users\*User*\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\(believe its) "005C8894" moving cfg.dat and pc_settings.bin somewhere (it'll reset all the settings)
Might be power settings freaking out
Not an expert opinion though at all
Open nvidia control panel.
Click on Set PhysX configuration, open the drop down menu and select your NVIDIA card (the name is dependent on your exact card) as the PhysX processor. Click Apply and you are done.
The game is heavy on cpu, so 80%+ on a quad core is normal.
How are you looking at usage? Task manager is broken for gpu usage with latest win 10 build.
I guess the issue was task manager...
