BAWSAQ Stock market down for maintenance?

I've tried every solution i've found on the internet but yet none work. I'm signed into social club and have an internet connection, launching through steam. I even uninstalled my mods but yet none work. It was working in the beginning but ever since I bought a few stocks it went down and has yet to come back up and im currently on The assassination mission but cant even invest in stocks. Any help? thanks.

Edit: This is getting a lot more attention then I thought it would. Just wanna say that there isn't a fix atm, It's a Rockstar issue and not client side. The only solution is waiting for a Patch/Update from Rockstar. Also, just wanna say it's pretty cool that a lot of people care about / play Singleplayer still!

This is so disappointing. I don't even wanna play anymore until they fix this issue. Why are they treating paying, legit customers in the same way as those which pirated this game and obviously had no access to the online features? This is a disgrace.

I thought it was of the falling playercount in SP, but seems that people still enjoy GTA V. I'm also putting in a bug report. As I'm working in IT helpdesk I find it very annoying that people are reporting the same silly issue. If we all start harrassing them, they might just fix it just to get rid of us :)

That would take a considerable amount of reports, right now there seem to be not enough of them.

This is getting ridiculous. I said screw it and decided to play through and do the first assassination mission without investing in the Betta Pharmaceuticals stock on BAWSAQ. Finished the mission and waited for the Bilkington stock on LCN to drop to a low level, then invested most of every characters money in that stock.

Checked after the first day and the stock was up 3% for each character.

Fast forward to a couple of game play days later, and the stock is up about 30% for Trevor and Michael, but when I go to Franklin's portfolio, it says it's empty. So basically it lost all the money he made from all the missions up through the Jewel Store job.

At this point I have to ask, is this game as buggy as it appears this many years after release? Is it worth playing, or is it just going to end up an exercise in managing and reverting to save games? /rant

When it came out I had no issues with the stockmarket whatsoever. It seems they broke this while releasing updates over the years, but it also seems nobody really cares about the SP-players..

Yeah I've never had issues with it in the past. At some point in the last year the BAWSAQ broke. Between RDR2 and possibly gta6, GTA5 SP is waaaay down the list of priorities. An no, I am sure they don't read this comment section. I also said piss on it and just went ahead and progressed the main story. Yeah it really sucks because you cant really get enough money for all the properties any other way. Hell, there isn't even any way to just add money with a cheat either. I guess I'll just manage with picking up the 25k hidden package 400 times lol
