Cutscene Keeps Repeating and I Can't Skip

So I bought a meth lab and when ever I do a set up mission for the meth lab it replays the cut scene until I leave the game or Alt+f4. When I leave it does not count as me setting it up is there any way that I can fix this?

Tried verifying your file cache with steam? Could be a wobbly file.

If you do this in populated lobby, try emptying it. For example suspend GTA process for 5-10 seconds in resource monitor. Maybe lag bcs of poor connection with other players is causing it;)

Well this still must be some connection issues.. lately players are unable to do random stuff similar to yours. instead of alt f4 you could try switching active crew in SC overlay (join some random ones in case you don't have 2) this will throw you into character selection screen. Mb it will help bypass cutscene. And better repeat in empty session again. Solo still might work in few retries.

Is the SC overlay the way you become and MC president or CEO because if so I cant open it up when i'm in the cut scene

An overlay is not attached to the game, but overlays it. You can access Steam's overlay with SHIFT+TAB, the Social Club overlay with HOME, the Windows 10 Game DVR by pressing the HOME button on a controller and if you have an AMD card you can access some Radeon overlay with ALT+R

Because they are not connected to the game they can be accessed at any time even if the game freezes or loops, the Social Club overlay does actually interact with the game in some ways though such as rebooting the session any time you use it to join or leave a crew. You can also use the overlay to look for and join friends.

As *In* said, you might be able to break the loop this way with some action, the problem is that the join or leave crew action would switch session, ideally we need something that would keep you in the same session so you could complete your setup mission.


Other things you can try are ALT+ENTER to switch between window/fullscreen and ALT+TAB to switch between applications, these are good at "waking up" a misbehaving program (as well as crashing a working one) but GTAV seems to transition between modes flawlessly so it might be futile in this case. Worth a try though.

This still did not work. How ever I think i might spawn in the meth lab once the cut scene ends once. if I could maybe maneuver my way though the meth lab I could escape.

No, if it's the setup cutscene you will spawn directly outside the business and immediately receive a text from 'Teabag' to go pick up a car or van full of setup supplies. Once you've done the setup mission there are no more cutscenes you just from then on get teleported from the computer inside the business to the exterior of the business and sent on the mission.

Has this happened with any other cutscenes in the game? In GTA Online you only get cutscenes at the beginning of a contact or heist mission or when you setup a business for the very first time.

Buy a bunker, get a welcome cutscene, no cutscenes after that - buy a facility, get a welcome cutscene, no cutscenes after that - etc...

Smenily, you tried it whilst having a partner? I don't know what they call it with MC businesses but as a CEO your hirelings are called associates. Before you do the setup mission you should hire another player into your MC, maybe the fact that another player is connected to you might trigger the cutscene to end and drag you back into freeroam to go complete the mission with your hireling. Another thing worth a try at least.

1.The cut sense is once I deliver the supplies to the meth lab and
2. It has not done this with any other cut sense

yea this is happening to me, i bought the terminal meth lab while it was on sale and i have tried it repeatedly by alt+f4 ing out and trying agian. so far i have found no fix arround this except for buying a new lab that worked for a few people.

I fixed it and the way I did it was by verifying the game cache on steam. (I think) hopefully one of the solutions in this from this forum will help you!
