Nightclubs stock

So I have assigned 4 technicians to make goods. Do they produce stock even when I'm like offline? I remember letting them work on stock and then turning my PC off to go to sleep but the next day only a few stock was produced, it was 8 hours or so, I thought I should have more product by then.

You should try to stop listening to "everybody".

As the other Businesses from MC, you must be online in order to have them producing stuff.
No matter if you are registered as CEO, MC or nothing. They will produce.
No matter you are racing, free roaming, afk in front of TV or Security Cams during hours or doing heists or contact missions.

As long as you are online, your Business will work.
Some will require buying ressources (MC, Bunker)to not let them run "dry", other not (Night Club).

And remember that "everybody" can be changed by "nobody".
Test by yourself.
