Rev limiter

I looked around the forums as best as I could, but couldn't find anything on my issue. Why does every car in GTA V when flooring the throttle the sound breaks up at high rpm's like there is a rev limiter on it? I find that very annoying. Is there an option or mod to disable that? Thanks!

A few months ago R* decided to "improve"(?)" the engine dynamics of the new cars and it's been a disaster from what I can see. The new cars sound and behave like a boat with an outboard engine. It's really bad.
The older cars are not affected.

I noticed that when driving my Entity XXR before selling it. When I'm close to max speed the engine kinda slows down and then speeds up again over and over again..

As for mods, "Realistic Driving V" is what you're looking for. But be warned - the brakes will become almost useless lol.

Hmm..... Not sure about only the newer cars with this prob, as for it's happening with my 69 Charger and 70 Challenger. What a shame. That really bothers me.
