gta 5 can't look back while in vehicle (ps4 controller)

i use ps4 controller and while in vehicle, i press r3 but it won't let me look back. wtf help fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try running in big picture mode and make sure your r3 is mapped correctly.

in game in the button configuration part of the menu.

i searched and there's no option to change individual button configurations except for my keyboard and mouse

Yeah you might have to change them I had the same problem (but with an xbone controller) and couldn't use my special ability when i started story mode. The button didn't map right for some reason by default. You should be able to fix it in big picture mode like [-iD-] mentioned.
