GTA5 in VR is INCREDIBLE!!!!

so i just found out over the weekend that theres a now a VR mod that does not require VORPX (for those that dont know, VORPX is a injectore that costs about 30$, and can be a pain in the arse) to get working, sadly it does not use the motion controllers, it requires a game pad, but my god, GTA5 has NEVER been so good!

Yeah I got the REAL VR mod myself the other day, best VR experience Iv had to date. I recommend grabbing yourself a steam controller OP and setting up gyro for driving(a wheel would work to but be a lot more cumbersome I’d imagine) it makes it even better

Anyone who owns a compatible VR headset needs to get on this ASAP, trust us you won’t regret it.

The only reason to play Grand Theft Auto V with a VR headset is to use it at the Vanilla Unicorn.

However do it only with a realistic driving mod....otherwise its not very fun because its to arcadey.
If you want to play the story and do missions i highly recommend to play with a steam controller or x-box at least.

The difficulty increase when playing with a wheel is insane and requires jedi like skills. Also i had no real force feedback for gta wich makes it way more difficult then lets say a racing game where forcefeedback aids you in corners. But its possible and fun.

I def wouldn't choose it over an Xbox One controller for most games but when it comes to games with no controller support, racing games or when you want extra customisation the Steam controller just cant be beaten.
