GTA V sudden lag spikes
Hello, in the past days (2-3 days back) i have started experiencing annoying lag spikes in GTA O. I have tried reinstalling the game, but it didnt fix it. I dont know what issue it could be. Here are my specs (sorry for the imgur link, but i cant figure out how to show them diffrently) : https://imgur.com/a/2eFMX8p

P.S.: The game has been running smoothly until now, there weren't any issues with crashing or stuttering

be sure your drivers are utilizing the graphics card and not the intel HD graphics.

that is showing your graphics card is not currently in use.
follow this guide to make sure it is and try again.

yep, run the game again.
if you are still having lag spikes its probably now your RAM. its single channel 8GB you may want to change them out for 16GB dual channel (they must be the same brand etc).

Hey.

I have the same problem and I have search a bit for an explanation and I think I found what the lag spikes are coming from.
When Rockstar launched the latest DLC Diamond Casino Heist threre was a bug that some players got and that bug were giving them huge lag spikes so I think that that is the reason.
I hope they will fix that soon

Well maybe its a hint for u to upgrade... if possible. At least 1 more stick of 8gb is highly recommended for dual channel.

The same way I do. Shall I remind you the game was initially made to run on 256MB?
