LET'S GO!!! Also do you know of any other patches?

Lol, I thought this day would never come.

I'm so surprised I still don't believe it, I'm at work right now so can't test it. Will fire up the game later at night just to make sure.

Same, at school. As soon as I get home I'm testin' it.

Was used maliciously, you could travel faster than any rocket in the game thus being invinsible.

Yup

Afraid not. Other than me not liking the new arena DLC one bit despite getting a flawless victory in my first match, but I'll let you be the judge.

You'll be pleasantly surprised, coming from someone that used it daily for VIP work. First question to myself with the new questionable vehicles being added to freeroam I wondered how they would not be rendered useless, to my surprise the speed glitch patch did indeed come with it :-)

As much as i liked using it to nab buisness battle cargo in less time it takes to type this, ABOUT F-ING TIME R*

How about the other speedglitches that that patch introduced, can i still overtake sportscars with that optional MOC cab? can i still overtake jets with popped front tires? I hope not!

Also, next up i want them to patch the weird FPS issues, somewhere shortly after doomsday dlc they rolled out a patch that got me from 150fps average all the way down to 50fps average, its ridicilous.

Patch notes dropping soon...

I'm glad it's patched, although I'm going to miss it since it was a convenient way of traveling from one end of San Andreas to the other.

Oh well, time to use my MKII as one of those Speeder Bikes from Star Wars now.

I just tested the Oppressor MKII, and noticed you still can rock it back and forth to prevent losing speed, while continuously reload your boost without slowing down.
That's still pretty good, as I thought reloading without stopping was not how it's intended.

It seems they only patched those rarer cases of almost uncontrollable hyper speed bursts.

Well that sucks... I loved making my Deluxo friends eat my dust when racing them. The MKII is still faster than it though, no?

Also someone above mentioned you can still rock back and forth to prevent speed loss and continue boosting. Still sounds good to me.

It seem you don't quite understand what I am describing. Not quite sure what you mean, other than rocking back and forth only allows you to charge the boost, you will still slow down when holding both the accel and brake (how the speed glitch was actually engaged), that's what I'm talking about. The super speed that people used for getting from one end of the map to the other in under 30 seconds or completing HH in 60 seconds or even travelling faster than missiles themselves thus being invinsible :-) sorry if you already know all this just in your post it didn't seem you understood the glitch in question

On the ground for sure, in the air I'm not too familiar with the two now the speedglitch is gone

You can rock with just the throttle engaged, not the brake so you'll be going 60mph (how it was actually intended from day one) and not the glitched super exploitable 400+mph

If you don't hold the accelerator, you still don't lose any speed while recharging the boost.
You still can go across the whole map without accelerating, only using the constantly recharging boost.

But yeah, apparently, I have only ever used the real speed glitch by luck, because I never pressed the brake.
