I'm so surprised I still don't believe it, I'm at work right now so can't test it. Will fire up the game later at night just to make sure.
Yup
Afraid not. Other than me not liking the new arena DLC one bit despite getting a flawless victory in my first match, but I'll let you be the judge.
You'll be pleasantly surprised, coming from someone that used it daily for VIP work. First question to myself with the new questionable vehicles being added to freeroam I wondered how they would not be rendered useless, to my surprise the speed glitch patch did indeed come with it :-)
How about the other speedglitches that that patch introduced, can i still overtake sportscars with that optional MOC cab? can i still overtake jets with popped front tires? I hope not!
Also, next up i want them to patch the weird FPS issues, somewhere shortly after doomsday dlc they rolled out a patch that got me from 150fps average all the way down to 50fps average, its ridicilous.
Oh well, time to use my MKII as one of those Speeder Bikes from Star Wars now.
That's still pretty good, as I thought reloading without stopping was not how it's intended.
It seems they only patched those rarer cases of almost uncontrollable hyper speed bursts.
Also someone above mentioned you can still rock back and forth to prevent speed loss and continue boosting. Still sounds good to me.
On the ground for sure, in the air I'm not too familiar with the two now the speedglitch is gone
You can rock with just the throttle engaged, not the brake so you'll be going 60mph (how it was actually intended from day one) and not the glitched super exploitable 400+mph
You still can go across the whole map without accelerating, only using the constantly recharging boost.
But yeah, apparently, I have only ever used the real speed glitch by luck, because I never pressed the brake.
