Can I make a second character in GTA Online without losing the progress from my 1st character?

I already have a male character, but I want to have a female character too. Can I make my female charcter without losing the progress from the male one?

Just wondering btw , will u also keep ur purchases on the new character? Because im sure the bank accounts are shared

both characters share the bank account but not properties or progress.your main char wont lose any progress.but your new one starts from scratch

Yes. They are two seperate characters, the only things they share is indeed the bankacccount, and the stats recorded on Social Club. Some benefits to consider: if one character reaches level 100 you can instantly transfer that level to the other one. If you are a vehicle collector you can have double the amount of storage this way. Or buy properties at different locations for example, make one CEO and one MC oriented, etc.

Agreed. Any purchases should be account wide since the bank account is shared. I made second character after my first, and learned this the hard way.

you can copy rank and money to new character but cars business propreties remain to first character only
