Any fix for the menu mouse lag?

Not that I know of.
And at this point, don't expect any fix from Rockstar.

Besides, it's a minor issue.
You only do a few clicks at maximum to load a game.

If you're like me, only joining friends in GTAO, you press the Home button for the Social Club overlay, where no mouse lag is present.

you amout menu by pressing escape where online player list ect?? in some cases freezes there is caused by cheaters by tryings to prevent reporting well didnt see anyy succesfullnes in that one you can easy escape it :) afther reporting a cheater

Oh, did OP mean the in-game menu, not the main menu?

Try to change input method in Settings -> Keyboard/Mouse -> Mouse Input Method.
I have changed it to Windows, and it helped me.

Nope.
That has been the case since the beginning.
It's a rather minor issue though, as you don't really spend much time in the main menu anyway, after you've set everything up.

Funnily, if you open the Social Club overlay by pressing the Home button, the mouse works properly without lag.

Ik this is an old thread but in keyboard/mouse settings changing my mouse input method to windows helped this problem alot

There is no solution.
I said it 3 years ago, and it's still true today.

And seeing that Rockstar don't even fix the real big problems like cheating, or the recent game-breaking missing Survival mode issue, they won't fix this mouse lag.

Guess you have to learn accepting a "no".

Yeah, you sometimes have to wonder what the point of coming to answer "Deal with it" in a post asking for help is. If they don't know the answer and they say that it's fine but they shouldn't be telling others but they can or cannot do.

The lag in the in-game menu that OP experienced, or the lag in the main menu?

close any other running games? i sometimes have 3-4 games running at once and find i have to shut some down to reduce lag in gta for some reason
