And at this point, don't expect any fix from Rockstar.
Besides, it's a minor issue.
You only do a few clicks at maximum to load a game.
If you're like me, only joining friends in GTAO, you press the Home button for the Social Club overlay, where no mouse lag is present.
Never experienced that.
I have changed it to Windows, and it helped me.
That has been the case since the beginning.
It's a rather minor issue though, as you don't really spend much time in the main menu anyway, after you've set everything up.
Funnily, if you open the Social Club overlay by pressing the Home button, the mouse works properly without lag.

BTW, what was the fix?
The lag in the in-game menu that OP experienced, or the lag in the main menu?
