Offline mode not Available? Cant play. please help
"Offline play is only avaiable for accounts that have previously signed in on this machine (with "Remmember me" ticked) while connected to the internet and while Social club services are avalible. You have not previously signed in on this machine so offline play is not avalibe"

That is what it says when I try to play the singleplayer and the online mode, I am connected to the internet when I try to log in, also when I tired to go to https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/ It wont load but all other sites like Youtube and Twitter etc. will so its not a internet problem.

Just wanted to check if this is a Social Club problem or did I ♥♥♥♥ something up?
I played the game normaly last year and just recently reinstalled it and it wont let me play because of this.

HELP!

Update: I realised that when connected to my house internet on my phone I also cant accest the socialclub site but if i turn it off and enable mobile data (The internet my mobile provider gives me monthly for my phone) it seems I can acces it just fine which leads me to belive it is a problem between socialclub and my home internet?

HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

Iv tried restarting my modem, and doing some funky stuff with ipv4 in the control panel some guy on the internet said worked but nothing....

I just wanna play singleplayer FFS

Same problem here. I've been scouring the internet for a fix but NONE of them works for me. How the heck are we goina contact Rockstar support if we cannot even ACCESS their damn website???
Dorian Dec 26, 2018 @ 6:52pm
i was thinking of calling them or something in a few days if nothing works, however since i started i have come closer and closer to solving it so not all hope is lost yet, also gonna call my internet providers to see if they can help:loneh:

The website works fine - they don't just hate you. There are many reasons for you to be unable to open their website from them blocking *cough*, to your isp/them blocking, mobile internet, to your modem/router setting/config, to any other devices/services you pass through, to your dns, to your security/AV apps, to hosts, to malware/virus... the list goes on and on. Even corrupted network card drivers have caused connectivity issues in the past.

Much info here - that has (*also) repeatedly fixed -118's appearing in the posted log.

Ok soo psykoteky I was reading some of your posts on the topic and first off: Mad respect man for the lengths you go to just to help some randos on the internet and second: As I said before it is indeed a problem with my internet. As I also said VPN allowed me to enter the social club webpage but thats it. So i was reading your posts about changing ipv4 and ipv6 DNS but i got a bit lost.
It would be lovely if you could clear up just that part with the DNS and IP.
I dont know what to put where.

Once again i have mad respect for how you try to help the communitiy and it really inspires me.
Thanks in advance.
Dorian Dec 27, 2018 @ 10:18am
Do i have to mess around with ipv4 and ipv6 IP addresses or just leave at automatic?
Dorian Dec 27, 2018 @ 1:32pm
Okay soo i put my DNS for ipv4 as instructed to 8. 8. 8. 8. and 8. 8. 4. 4. and my ipv6 DNS 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844 but again same thing, cant log into social club without VPN
What should I do? Am I doing something wrong? Hell, maybe I should just wait or call my internet providers. I've already sent a ticket to Rockstar soo waiting for a response.

The link(s) clearly state that some ISPs (especially in certain countries) can be the source of this problem - calling them to attempt to confirm is a valid step. The vpn is simply bypassing whatever issue you have, or that is between you and R*.

Have you already factory reset your modem/router?
(asking because they "probably" will suggest it...)

Sorry it took so long to respond, but no I have not factory reset my router, I did just turn it off and on again multiple times but as you can imagine that did little to help, should I factory reset it though? I live in Croatia if that is important. And rockstar support did respond to me but the person responding seems to have missunderstood my question soo I might have to make it more clear.
psykoteky Dec 28, 2018 @ 2:49pm
I'd get into the router and make a backup of the config/settings/info - there is usually an option somewhere to do it. And then I would reset it. If it doesn't want to reconnect to the internet you'll have that backup info to restore it.

Fair warning- if you've setup your network NOT using default ip's on the router/gateway/etc - you may have to change local ip settings on the pc to be able to relog back into the router, to restore the backup - if that makes sense.

May need to dig up the manual for that model incase you don't have the default log/pw too - before reset. Or call the ISP and have them walk ya through (or remotely do it).

Anyway/afk/dinner~
Dorian Dec 28, 2018 @ 3:30pm
Ok, Il try that in the following week and tell you how it goes.
Once again, thank you!
Dorian Dec 29, 2018 @ 3:00am
As I thought...due to it being a new router the factory reset didnt do much, Infact i factory reset it twice...Shame, really got my hopes up though. I did tinker in the settings a bit but again that did little to help.
I heard some people talking about dual stacking and their internet providers, soo Im thinking of trying that.
If that doesnt work I honestly dont know what will... Il probably just give up
psykoteky Dec 29, 2018 @ 9:37am
Did your ISP ever confirm or deny they are blocking social club / gtav? At this point there isn't much left (if you did the link in order) other than putting the computer at a known working location that isn't vpn, that can open the social club website. I'd offer to tv/verify things - but you sound pretty methodical vs the other 80% who come at me with this issue. =\
