GTA Crashing [Modded] SOLVED

Hi there, so i bought the game a few days ago and it all worked fine. Installed LSPDFR, Native Trainer, Ragehook etc. even installed some cars and an LED Chrona mod, see Jeff Favignano's mod tutorial for pretty much all the mods I've installed, then fallowed Figureight's OpenIV tutorial for adding vbehicles. This all worked on Sunday with no issues.

Then on Monday I started the game but it crashed on startup, this was without adding anything else, obviously I tried starting it again same issue. So I verified the game files and then had to download about 900mb worth of data and at the same time i removed all the mods. Started the game and it worked fine. So I installed LSPDFR and associated scripts again aswell as a CVPI model that replaced the vanilla one and it worked, installed a 2015 charger and explorer and it worked. Then went to install the LED mod again and crash. Took it out, still crashes, this time it said; "Out of Game Memory" took out all the OpenIV mods and it worked again, still worked with the siren mod I had.

To fix the out of memory issue I downloaded the Game Config fix for v1604 however that still didn't fix it, it did get rid of the Out of Game memory crash but didn't get rid of the crashes.

Eventually I manage dto get the game working with just LSPDFR, Traffic Policer, Arrest Manager, LSPDFR+, Computer+, Native Trainer etc. and it was working on Monday Night. However this morning, Tuesday, I went to start up and Crash, nothing has changed from last night so I can't understand why it crashed. I thought it may have something to do with the RageHook Plugin so i reinstalled it and still it crashes.

PS: Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game isn't really a valid option as my internet is too slow to get that done in a reasonable amount of time.

PPS The game still works if I uninstall all mods

1- must be a conflict between some mods.
2- your comment about "not a valid option" is just, well, stupid.
Because finally, if no more solutions, you have 2 choices : redownload game taking time, or continue having game crash indefinitively.

Hope you will find some intermediary solution.

sometimes it will just crash lol even favignano crashes all the time , try going into rageplugin settings and force it to start in windowed mode , that has helped me in the past with crashes then just change it to fullscreen once in game , seems like mabey the LED mod is the cause? make sure you have your shader FX up higher then normal in game settings, sometimes this will cause a crash but normally just make your lights look off colour, i have close to 30 mods , plugins and scripts running , the only time i normally get a crash is after updates mainly due to open iv RPH file being out of date and or scripthook V being out of date to current game version i have had the out of memory crash before but very rarely.

i would say make sure everything is on current version GTA , RAGE , OPEN IV, and latest SCRIPTHOOK V check setting in rage to see if theres anything that you can do ( command line switches in settings ) i have all the mods/Plugins that you have and plus some and havnt had an issue since they updated GTA , just always remember this game will crash when everything is perfect i honestly probably crash once every 2 hours just from some random plugin or mod have a hiccup, its very common for me to crash first time start up or even after 2 trys then it would work so just keep on trying, and ensure everything is for current version go into openiv and hit edit mode it might pop up with a green banner at the top to update and if so hit that and that was your issue, crashes happened to me all the time and couldnt get my game to work until i went into openiv and updated my rph files it happens after every update and it will cause your gaem to crash if you do not update it

( have your ever had any issues with crashes on base game ? stupid question but im sure you have graphic settings set right to your computers setup ? )

like said aboce a full reinstall or at least a game cache verification may be needed , exspecially if you back dated your game after update through rage you may need to verify the latest version

I fail to understand why rage hook has just plain update their software which then refuses to work with your older version of GTA V ON STEAM, their latest patch is 0.64 which the latest download of the game is 1604 which is not supported. vyes silly me out of frusgtration i didnt back up the game so i can not revert to it. does anyone know of a workaround? appreciate it, this has screwed my christmas big time as i had only just started the game

Reno, I know you are trying to help but waiting 4 days to see if an issue has or has not been fixed is not a valid option, especially since I know I can install a mod and have it work, only for the game to crash the next day tyhe computer is turned on.

When you say the game will crash when everything is perfect, do you mean it will crash while you are playing? Or it will crash on startup and not even load into the game, which is what it's doing for me.

Update:

I've since removed all mods and have only put RageHook in and the game crashes. Using the most up to date version of Rage Hook which is for the current version of GTA V.

So.. don't mod. It's pretty simple. Play the game intended or don't play it. Modding is for the weak.
