Can't I play GTA Online when I have LSPDFR installed?
I'm new to the game. I installed LSPDFR. However when I try to launch my GTA Online, it says my game files were altered hence they don't allow me to connect Online to play.

Any work around for this?

Yes- remove all the mods. Run a second folder that is 100% vanilla.
Run "another copy I won't describe further here" for only modding.

If you used a "mods" folder - you "might" be able to get away with remove dinput8.dll.
I wouldn't suggest it though - I don't trust R* at all and prefer 100% vanilla.

Thanks.

Does that means I need to install 2 copies of GTA? One for Online, one for LSPD?

If you're making two copies, I would say, you'll be using up to 150 GB space of your hard drive, unless if you want to make a backup copy of your game.

I suggest use the "Mods" folder and copy any file outside it into the "Mods" folder, reflecting the directory it used. Remove the ASI loader and DON'T RUN the RagePluginHook.exe when you want to play GTA Online.

That will solve your provlem.

Oh that's a good idea. Yeah 150GB of SSD is madness.

So I'll try install LSPD into a "MODS" folder. and remove the ASI loader as you mentioned.

Hopefully that works.

Actually GTA don't seem to load that long. Just that to get connected to ONLINE takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R. And that has nothing to do with SSD.

There is no work around except to remove the mods,..
or bare minimum - remove dinput8.dll from the folder.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
