Helicopter controls suck.
I still hate helicopter missions, especally the new pick stuff up with a cargobob in the middle of a bunch of buildings... I wasted a bunch of money trying to get Black Madona because I can't fly a helicopter with nearly enough precision to land the cargobob on the car to pick it up... Stupid thing wobbles around and never goes the direction I want it to and I ended up smashing into buildings until it blew up... I wish they just made the directional controls WSAD instead of mouse based...

Does anyone else feel my pain?

And how do you have your helicopter controls set up then that prevents you from wobbling around akwardly? Or are you just a troll who wants to rub salt in the wound?

Flying heli is a big part of the game. Heists, missions and public cargo.

Get a controller. Worth it.

You can use WASD + 8456 to fly. Using the mouse for flying is pretty terrible.

There is no finer and precise control than keyboard. I can land on a dime at near light speed. Do the pilot school missions. They are not dumb filler, they actuall teach you how to fly.

I bought a cheap wired controller at Wal-Mart for $20, worth it 100% for flying.

I use WASD for flight stick, shift/ctrl for throttle up/down, 2/3 for rudder. Also just in case I can hold mouse1 for mouse control.

Practice, and do flying school. I've used planes and choppers since I started this game, and tbh the keyboard controls are good once you learn them.

Just need to get to know your keybinds,
reconfigure and accustom them for both hands.

Then practise makes perfect.

Keyboard is fine.
Get used to using a controller if you want to do extensive pvp with aircraft

Let me just agree, helicopter sucks hard and using WASD + 8456 doesn't do much for me.... Wasted so much time trying to do first helicopter lesson, and for the love of God, I just can't do it. Those wind gusts or whatever is causing those random movements are crashing me into every object on my way. Managed to finish the lesson just once but it took me so long, I didn't pass.
I picked Trevor with maxed out Flying and helicopter wobbles like a crazy. Extremely annoying, expecially in tight spaces. Planes are much much easier to control....

I still do it with the keyboard&mouse. I think I'm the only one using the savage anymore though.:DaughterUnlucky:
Nop
Some people been blowing me up with them on cargo missions.
They take more rockets than a buzzard, way more annoying to deal with.
Just get used to it, if your flying level is low, then you will wobble a lot. Just fly them in freeroam and you will get better. I fly with mouse & keyboard and I am really good with aircraft in general.

Getting a controller for a pc is like buying a keyboard for an Xbox/ps4 xD
