(for example 20 people in the lobby is 20% bonus money, so 42k)

I'm surprised that the people you asked said this. Facility is by far more popular than bunker primarily due to its source of income, however if you did specify that you're only going to strictly grind solo then I can understand why bunker is an ideal choice.
Facility is a co-op grind between 2-4 players (Doomsday heist), whilst bunker is a solo money making operation.
As you know you collect or buy supplies for your staff in your bunker to accumulate goods to sell, if you have partners in crime to gather supplies you'll bring in a larger quantity of supplies as opposed to doing it solo.
Other than that bunker is simply just a waiting game. Make sure you have to be in-game for the bunker to function, every time you're logged off, the bunker stalls. Much like any business in-game.
Apart from various suggestions above, in the meantime since you own a Buzzard, you might want to do VIP missions from your SecuroServ, make sure you assign yourself as a CEO to activate these missions. Go back and forth between Headhunter and Sightseer, it's a dreadfully boring but efficient grind.
Get the upgrades for it, And really all you have to do with the bunker itself is sell every hour and half? I think it is.
I got a coke business, Fully upgraded and you just don't make the profit you can with the bunker. You need to do more hands on work. To make any kind of a decent profit you have to do a few resupply missions yourself, Which I hate doing. Then when you go to sell, Even with only 75k worth of supplies, Sometimes you're stuck selling it using two bikes. Very annoying.
The bunker on the other hand, Is always a 1 person solo sell at 75k supplies. And I've found the deliveries tend to be faster.
i have both production upgrades but not the security one, since its pointless.
Not sure why you didnt make any profit, i think you still should make a little bit even without any upgrades, but i have never used it like that so i can't be sure(i've had it upgraded since day 1).
here a neat spreadsheet with info about the businesses and their profits.

as long as you dont go over 350K in stock, you will never get raided: no security upgrade needed.
Depending on your location, it's possible to sell 350K (500K in town) solo aswell. Still get some friends help do deliveries in turns works better. Even when they don't have to drive, it's nice to have someone watching your back.
Getting a bunker before anything else is the best in my opinion. It will generate income while doing all the other things, heist, races, Import Export or other activities.
This way you only get one vehicle, its not worth doing more then that.
Selling 2 vehicles is more risk, and doesnt net you any extra profits.
That just has an effect on your bonus percentage, not on the amount of product produced.
you get 1% bonus for every person in the lobby at the moment you complete the sale.
If you know how to use solo public lobbies, then i recommend going into a filled public session when you start the sale. (i usually aim for 20+)
If i get an easy mission (the one with the bigrig truck or the one with just one dropoff point with an insurgent ill deliver it in the full public session (sometimes with ghost org on, if the session is volatile). 42k extra profit can be worth the risk.
If i get one of the harder vehicles, like the buggy or the 5 point drop off insurgent (the green one) then ill just dc the session with the resource monitor, and sell it in the solo lobby with ease.
You can even just keep open the resource monitor and just go for the sale and if you see anyone coming for you you quickly alt tab and desync yourself from the session with the resourcemonitor like usual, its a little dirty but it works perfectly :P
