Oh, if you want to avoid being head-shot LEAN forward, like when you do when hiding from cops. Works for me as people have a tendency to shoot at headrests. Its not a perfect solution but it makes life easier.
insurgent pickup can be upgraded in the moc/avenger
so a Deluxo can 100% kill a nightshark.
Had a player accuse me of modding cause I blew him up "instantly".. IDK how he didn't see me planting sticky bombs as my car was just sitting behind him and I was whipping them one after another for a good few seconds.. xD
Also, the Armored Kuruma is a very nice BP glass and armor plated car.. but it blows up as easy as most normal cars.. nothing like the resilience of the Nightshark; but you can shoot guns (no throwables)
It's been 20 for as long as I can remember.. been playing since 2020..
There are 3 different variants of protective windows.
1-Bulletproof:
Only vehicle, like others said, is Armored Kuruma. Effective as hell against heist setups and missions which features personal vehicles to drive. Not good for PvP because we have Mk.II FMJ rounds and explosives can make it as a sitting duck.
2-Bullet resistanced:
I'm not going to talk about old vehicles like armored Schafter V12 because Contract DLC killed all of them.
Vehicles like Buffalo STX, Champion etc. etc. has this type.
It requires 11 normal rifle/pistol bullets to break them. Or just use an explosive and those FMJ rounds again.
In PvP and missions, they are good for getaway car. (Note: Imani tech changes gameplay style but our subject is windows.)
3-Window Plated
Since I mostly drive-by envoriment, they are worthless and I hate them.
It gives protective plates which it allows to without getting shot from somewhere. (□ turns to °)
Gunrunning's Research vehicles have them. But if you maxed out a window plate upgrade, you can't use any weapons expect vehicle's equipped weapons. Also, a sharpshooting player or a minigun player can take you out easily.
i just love dying against IA, gneeeee
