Game Crashes Due to Unknown Error

[Dark Rush]

I get 2 different error messages. The second one makes no sense since GTA V is stored on my C drive, not my F drive.

Any ideas?

c00001d in the past was mostly due to missing service pack 1 on a win 7 installation.
Did you redo your OS/hdd? Sp1 is required.

On win10/8 - it could sometimes be caused by having debug enabled in msconfig / boot tab / advanced options. Uncheck it - apply / restart.

Past that - you haven't given much else. Reinstalled? Modded? Any other malware/adware or viruses fussing with OS? Reinstalled vcredists/.net or ran sfc /scannow? Started recently? Using compatability on the .exe's? Any antivirus/security apps in background you can pause/sleep, or even uninstall to rule out (they are also known to cause issues).

The second error - makes sense because every drive can be hit with file corruption...

I'd be more interested in your my docs / rockstar games / gtav / launcher.log
(and the answering of questions)

Trying to find the post IIRC of a 1d error being caused by corrupt savegames too - no luck. Easy enough to 'test' - rename my docs / rockstar games to rockstar games-OLD.

1. Debug was not enabled in msconfig.
2. The game was freshly insalled on an SSD. This issue is very recent, I want to say as of the Nightclub DLC.
3. According to Norton, I don't have an viruses. Norton never interfered with the game in the past so I have no reason to believe it would do so now.

Not ruling norton out would be a mistake - I've seen plenty of antivirus work fine with gtav til they updated and instantly were a source of problems. At best - temporarily rule it out (or exclusions). I've also seen norton (and others) not find/remove stuff that adwcleaner from toolslib has.

Freshly installed also doesn't clarify mod usage - if any.
Especially since uninstalling / reinstalling - doesn't remove them.
(nor does it mean the update, or verify cache worked properly either)

And of course - windows has updated too.

I'd prefer to simply teamviewer and strip it all down myself. Being a Saturday night though... below is my standard copy/paste for pretty much any gtav error. It covers MANY bases. Assuming it is done through entirely, including the steps to manually reinstall the things gtav uses, as well as making windows boot as vanilla as possible (norton included) to rule out conflicts. Only thing not buried in it somewhere is sfc /scannow (IIRC).

Exit steam, rightclick steam, run steam as admin.
Rightclick gtav in steam, properties, local files, browse local files-
(show hidden files, and show file extensions if necessary -.-)
Delete anything that is NOT a folder AND is NOT a .RPF file.
Rightclick gtav in steam, properties, local files tab, verify integrity of game cache.
When verify is complete AND NOT BEFORE (yes.. /facepalm NOT BEFORE)...
Open program files / rockstar games - DELETE social club folder.
Open steam/steamapps/common/gtav/installers - rightclick socialclubsetup - run as admin
Open my documents - RENAME rockstar games to rockstar games-OLD
Try gtav.

STILL have issues?
