It says you can interact with your businesses on the phone call. To some degree you can, but you can't buy supplies only manual supply runs. So they specifically removed that feature to make it useless as far as I'm concerned.
It was never a feature. People merely assumed it was.
Think about who need to steal supplies: people without sufficient money to buy it / for fun....
So....you first get a Nightclub and then terrorbyte (nearly 4-5 million) simply for launching supply stealing mission. Excellent job there to save money.
And for fun...you probably already had all sort of resource and I am pretty sure you wont care driving an oppressor MK II or flying your whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OP plane to your business or bunker or whatever for launching the supply mission.
Terrorbyte is pretty much a trash in terms of stealing supplies. Maybe it's good to launch some crates/ import mission everywhere but isn't really worth it I guess.
If you're given access to the businesses in the same capacity as you know, being there, then that would imply that you would be able to do the usual things.
- Why let them do manuel supplies but from the get go refuse them access to buying supplies? It's obvious they decided to block that feature for what ever reason. Specifically that, without letting you know before you buy it.
They also said you would be able to do all that in the bottom floor of the nightclub, yet that laptop offers only the same night club managment as the upper lap top.
It's a lie from the start, or at best an insanely disappointing vehicle. I'm just warning people because I'm NOT the only person I know who thought it would be useful and allow you to "manage your other businesses" like what was implied.
Because for me and anyone with enough money to buy this thing, doing manuel runs for all their stuff is out of the question. The whole point was supposed to be able to buy supplies from 1 location which would be worth the money buying an otherwise useless vehicle just so that I would have yet ANOTHER command vehicle that does nothing but this one is weaker??
Yea, Rockstar messed up with this one for people like me.
All what I have read said that it would be a hub to our other business's. Which it is.
You can do all from the bottom floor laptop as you would be able from the one in the nightclub VIP office.
When this was leaked a while back. People just starting going wild, youtubers was not helping the matters one bit either, Everyone was coming to what they thought it would be like. Nothing offiical come from R*, until a couple days ago from R* about the Terrorbyte.
So unless you can prove what R* said and then not did do. I am going to stand by what I just wrote and say it was all just a bunch of rumors, made up by youtubers who just wanted to get the most like for their youtube channel.
So basically if you are disappointed in the new Terrorbyte. I feel sorry for you. Next time you might want to to consider where the info is coming from.
This is from RockStar Wire: "While your Nightclub rakes in legitimate cash and your technicians toil away accruing contraband for your Nightclub Warehouse, Paige’s app can network into all your already owned businesses, allowing you to launch Steal and Resupply runs from anywhere. Keep your Gunrunning Supplies, Air-Freight Cargo, Special Cargo, Vehicle Cargo and Biker Supplies fully stocked and running like a well-oiled machine."
It clearly states "allowing you to launch Steal and Resupply runs from anywhere" Nothing is said about buying supplies. Stealing and resupply runs are the key words here.
No you can not. The Terrorbyte will be unloced if you need supplies. Otherwise if your full on supplies it will be locked and it will not tell you how much product you have either.
Think more that the terrorbyte is the only place to can customize the new oppressor MK2. Nothing really more.
Just form in game, and 1 youtube video that said you could also manage your other businesses like is mentioned in the game.
The imporant thing is to let other people know that when rockstar says "manage/supply your other businesses" they specifically leave out actually buying supplies like a sane person would want and expect from those words.
Also, speaking of in game, they specifically say the laptop downstairs lets you manage your other businesses, that line must be old and before they apparently decided to strip that as a feature for the nightclub and make ot exclusive to yet another command truck, that still doesn't let you actually BUY supplies.
" allowing you to launch Steal and Resupply runs from anywhere."
Steal, and "resupply" to me as an owner of 5 of these businesses mean 2 very distinct things. A steal mission is when you have to actually manually do the resupply mission by stealing said supplies, Resupply means buy it. Maybe they did mean "steal - and - resullply" as one, just steal mission but that doesn't excuse the rest of the flaws such as.
For a base to act as a "hub" for all my businesses I expect full access to the usual features, not for it to bizarrely leave out the most important one.
Also as I said before, the whole part of the special laptop below that you hear about during the mission apparently means nothing even though it straight up says that is where you'll manage your other businesses. - That's a straight up lie.
I feel bad for anyone who bought a shark card for this crap.
The purpose of this post is to warn people that it does NOT do what many people think was implied, or in specific cases striaght up said during the set up mission.
I don't care if you think they did a fantastic job and that it's a worthwhile vehicle still, most people who wanted it to help their businesses will appriciate me warning them so that they don't waste their money which sadly, many many people will and how can I blame them? I almost did myself until I saw a youtube video with the same title as this which for the first time clearly explained what it does and DOESN'T do which for many people including myself is a shock considering what was said during the set up mission and the phone calls saying said vehicle would act like a "hub" to manage all my other businesses as if I was there. I fell let down, but at least someone warned me before I bought it.
Shame on rockstar for being so unclear about it. No one wants a truck that can - ONLY- launch steal missions for their MC businesses lol... and for some unexplained reason refuses you the most useful management option. What a fail..
Players can be disappointed all they want if they listen to rumors and found out they are not true. When people find out that R* released the DLC differently then what the rumors said, should not be upset with them, nor should they say they lied. In fact they did not say really anything till a couple of days ago. But they should consider where they got the info instead.
Personally, I think R* released the new Terrorbyte just they way they had planned from the start.
I can not see how anyone can not see this statement R* clearly :"While your Nightclub rakes in legitimate cash and your technicians toil away accruing contraband for your Nightclub Warehouse, Paige’s app can network into all your already owned businesses, allowing you to launch Steal and Resupply runs from anywhere. Keep your Gunrunning Supplies, Air-Freight Cargo, Special Cargo, Vehicle Cargo and Biker Supplies fully stocked and running like a well-oiled machine." Steal and resupply runs clear as day to me.
