Solo Bunker sale question

Hi,

On selling a bunker solo, I often have to use an armored vehicle (I didn't catch the name) with a gun mount at the top; at the end of the mission, it says you can get into the gunner seat, but try as I might, I just can't. What's the secret to moving to the gunner seat please? Aparently some cars you can do so from inside the vehicle, and others you can do so from outside the vehicle but I can't figure out either.

Also, how do you throw bombs from a vehicle please? I see video's of people doing it but I can't find any way to actually select the bomb.

I might be wrong as it's been a while since I played in that thing but I think you hold H, same thing you do in a convertible to raise or lower the roof. If you are using a controller then just do what you do to convert a convertable.

As far as the gunner seat is concerned, its real finicky if theres no driver..

You have to climb on top of the truck (called an Insurgent) and look directly at the gunner seat and hold F (or Y if you use Xbox controller). A good tip is to have a gun out and put your crosshair directly on the turret while standing on the roof of the truck.

If you dont look directlly at it you seem to always get in the front, which is annoying.

For sticky bombs, some of the sale mission Insurgents have armor upgrades that prevent you from using them. you can only use regular guns with these. As far as I know, only the standard Insurgent lets you throw stickies.

In regular vehicles, select the sticky bomb (I think its tab or mousewheel, or maybe X on controller). Theres a simple and complex control setting if I recall... I use complex which requires to aim (LMB, or right bumper) and then fire (RMB, ... dont remember.. B?)

Thanks, I'm going to try this, yes it's an Insurgent (I looked up the name). I did the H thing and I did the F thing, pressing, holding, you name it but no luck. I believe I'll try the gunner thing though I don't see me having the time to get into that seat on the last drop off as you have 2 choppers, 2 armored vehicles (Insurgents?), some jeeps and I think I saw 1/2 bikers.

Was a total slugfest, I had to try take out 1/2 people between each death.

You can't bring up the weapon wheel while driving, you can only scroll mouse wheel and I went through that twice, it only allows my pistols and the one SMG. Was hoping to at least take out the jeeps and bikers with some of that.

if u face back door hit f.. if that don't work face back door and hold f.. also u could jump on top and hit f... usually we don't use the gun at all we just take cover and aim for the heads.. think outside the box u don't always have to follow directions

For some reason, its all screwed up in the bunker sale missions. it seems way more difficult than usual... I usually just find some good cover on that last wave and take everyone out from there

Also, the sale mission insurgent has level II armor (I think) and you cant select stickies or grenades or proxies when using it. ( I just use the bumper on the motorcycle guys, because f___ them, its funny)

I solo that one all the time. It is the 5 drops with the hostile merryweather. All I do is shoot out through the windows with me AP pistol. The last wave, just before you drop it off, call up an armored well gunned vehicle. I use my custom speedo for that. I pull it up to where the drop is going to be. I finish the drop, get out and get into the speedo. With the highest armor the windows are just about as bullet proof as the kurma.

WoW, that's one hell'o'va vehicle. We've been using the Huntley S which doesn't hold a candle to this! Now that's a great reason to buy a nightclub.

You have to hold H to move to the weapon seat. At least, to me it is.
Solo gunrunning is pretty tough.. especially in large public sessions..
Why don't you invite some friends? I'm sure that'll be much easier

Little tip: you can sell a full bar of supplies (100 crates, I guess the bar shows 100k without upgrades) and it will guarantee you a signle delivery vehicle. So just get a full bar of supplies and let the bunker produce weapons until the bar is empty.

With upgrades sell at 175k (the bar will show 175k) and do the long delivery which will be 262k, one vehicle, every time.

Yes thanks, that's what I'm doing right now, busy saving for the first upgrade which is the expensive one. Right now I'm getting 160k per sell with the second upgrade.

When you get both upgrades you should buy supplies for the bunker - IF you can make 75K faster than it takes you to steal supplies.

Ok, so to feed back on the Insurgent during the mission (don't know if it holds true outside the mission).

1. Climb onto top of Insurgent, easiest is if you climb up from the back since the animation takes you all the way up.
2. Look down at the hatch and HOLD F - I still had about 25% of the time that the character tries to jump off instead of getting in so I haven't perfected this yet. What I can confirm though, is if you just press F, the character WILL JUMP OFF 100% of the time.
3. To climb out of the turret, hold H and he'll get into the back seat and from there you can press F to climb out.

Try as I might, I haven't been able to get into the back seat of the Insurgent in order to use H to climb into the turret. Not sure if anyone else knows how to do that.

One last thing. When you get on the gun hold X to duck and take less damage.
