Cannot use Hanger Workshop to modify aircraft beyond paint jobs

I bought a hanger at the airbase and bought the workshop along with it, but I can't use it to modify any of my aircraft beyond simple paint jobs. Do I have to buy one of the major hangers in order to modify and improve my aircraft?

What plane are you trying to modify? All hangars are the same inside so its not about that

Pegasus vehicles can only be painted.

Try Akula, Hunter, Pyro etc for full pimp options.

What is the difference between a Pegasus vehicle and a regular one? I really just want to modify my Buzzard.

pegasus ones you call in from pegasus
personal aircrafts you get from your hangar and they are insured

vehicles that you move to hangar and convert can be only painted. vehicles that you buy directly to hangar can be modified and painted.
