You can hit about 60 cars with the mission cab. Don't hit everything on the road, but hitting most cop (for fun) is certainly doable. Tested this from Zancuda and scrapyard bunkers. I have no idea if it's doable from Palleto bay (longer distance, more cops)
Once the cab is close to be destroyed, you will get a popup in the top left corner "hold H too release the trailer". Either drive more careful from that point, or release the trailer and get another cab.
Then you should have less fun ^^^drive into less cars so you make it to the finish
I ment from bunker to drop off.
It's well doable from Paletto to Town aswell. I've tested from Zancuda and scrapyard bunkers by hitting nearly every car on the road. That burned out the Cab pretty quick. I then only hitted copcars and was able to deliver with the same cab. (friends do have the Paletto bunker, and they are also able to deliver)
Try to hit less cars, and pay attention to the prompt in upper left corner "hold H to release". You'll get that just before the cab is destroyed.
The hinching mechanism on the mission truck is different (stronger) then that from regular cabs. Just like with the MOC, it takes quite some force to release it. This makes transport easier, but as you notice, near impossible to force release once the cab is destroyed (unlike normal cabs, where it will release on destruction).
Drive more carefull and you'll be fine.
