Alienware 15 r3
I have an alienware 15 r3 with a i7-7700 and a 1070 and it keeps getting to 80 degrees with the gpu after 20 minutes of gaming and they already replaced it once and this will be the second time, is there anything I should know? What could be casueing it and why? I really need help

Undervolt it or boost the fan speed.

80C on a laptop isn't bad. Most laptops run at thermal limits. As above said, you can undervolt the cpu on most and achieve lower temps w/o any effects. Repasting the cpu has also been said to help.

Replace the thermal paste? Dust it off if its dusty inside? Maybe look to improve airflow with a pad or something?

I think that after a year or so even good fans need to be replaced in compact units like cards and laptops.

Prob didn't realize it. Most laptop reviews don't show heat output when under full load (like gta puts on a system). That being said, most will run at thermal limits unless you repaste/undervolt/etc. but that's what they're designed to do.

The issue I have is the gpu over heats, I know the cpu can take it but I get frame frops from the gpu getting too hot

It is possible that the vent is completely clogged by a dust, so you will have to look for that and also for the heatsinks. If everything is looking good, then you will probably need to reapply some thermal paste on the graphic card.
The thing is they opened it up and replaced it once and this is going to be the second time and I clean the vents whenever I can
