80C on a laptop isn't bad. Most laptops run at thermal limits. As above said, you can undervolt the cpu on most and achieve lower temps w/o any effects. Repasting the cpu has also been said to help.

But you bougth a "gamer laptop' with high end config, you should know about high temperatures...
Prob didn't realize it. Most laptop reviews don't show heat output when under full load (like gta puts on a system). That being said, most will run at thermal limits unless you repaste/undervolt/etc. but that's what they're designed to do.
