[THE CHILDREN ARGUE] Who thought the phantom wedge was a good idea?
The thing is made of glass. I was just trying to sell 1 million in gunrunning stock with 2 of them, before I even made it to the city (from cheapest bunker) they blew up. There goes 1 million, and any and all consideration towards buying that piece of garbage.

It's up there with the Armored Boxville and Ramp Buggy in terms of "things that should be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome but are incredibly useless in practice".

I had the same experience except I had to blame myself because I hit like a hundred civilian vehicles before it caught on fire. If you stick to ramming only the police you won't have a problem.

It's a big unwieldy vehicle yeah, but its still one of my favorite delivery missions since there are only two of the bloody things when you have full stock. I'd take it any day of the week over those horrendous monster trucks.

Yeah, to keep it and the ramp buggies from being "overpowered" they gave them a hard limit on how many cars they can throw out of the way. So long as you're not actively running into cars it's apparently decent at taking a beating.

But don't expect anything to be done about it. We'd be lucky if they ever make a phantom wedge custom with the ability to upgrade it's armor and all. Not likely though.

At least when you use something DURABLE you can not lose 1 million due to bad game design.

Edit: Bad car design*
The whole thing is bad game design, I guess I'm still trying to figure out which mission is the worst. TO ANYONE READING THIS WHO DOESN'T HAVE A BUNKER: DON'T BUY A BUNKER

How would it be "overpowered" without the limit on how many cars it's able to throw out of the way, especally when compared to some of the actual weaponized vehicles and weapons? Sure we can have a shotgun that can one shot most cars in the game, but a truck that just pushes them out of the way? NOOOO that's too OP.

Bunker is a pretty nice way to earn money passively. And the Phantom Wedge delivery is one of the best and most fun mission. Just keep an eye out that you don't let the cars crash you, you're flipping up. That's the weak spot of the vehicle. If you just tap them slightly out if your way, it tanks way more.

Monster Truck and Buggy delivery are way worse.

But don't we need a bunker to own an MoC and also to unlock the best gun upgrades in the game?

You could also buy facility and Avenger. But Bunker and MOC are cheaper.

ITT: topic creator blames "bad car design" for their own inability to not crash into everything.

Except it's the only way to research upgrades.

You obviously have never done the dune fav sale if you're complaining about this

Bunker is great for passive income, just sell the stock before you get $175k.

But I have to agree that the Wedge delivery mission sucks. I had it do a flip after hitting a cop car, the trailer disconnected and got stuck in an unreachable place.

Then it teleported to the road FACING BACKWARDS, where I had to turn around with that massive tub, reconnect the trailer and turn around again, all under police fire. Then it starts to smoke.

Nope. Disconnected my wifi and tried another mission.

The thing is, you plan on buying an moc, upgrades, weaponized cars, all that. Then you buy a bunker, your wallet gets depleted, and you're stuck earning $100 an hour endlessly waiting for the next resupply and eventual failed sale. So while yes, you need a bunker for something, said something will become impossible to get after buying a bunker.

My own inability to not crash into everything? It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WEDGE TRUCK. You're SUPPOSED to crash it into things. The design was made specifically to crash into things. Are you saying I should buy a ramp buggy to not drive under cars? A rocket voltic to obey the speed limit? A weaponized tampa to have the guns taken off it and then to follow the laws of traffic?

To clarify:
By "sell the stock before you get $175k" do you mean I can sell it solo?
And by "Disconnected my wifi" you mean you can just retry a sale mission?

If what I'm getting from this is right I'm not going to hate myself for losing $1M due to my own ignorance, nope. Not at all.
