How to skip time in story mode?

The "wear an epsilon robe for 10 days" thing is pissing me off now because every time I save the game Michael "the ♥♥♥♥" changes out of the robes for one of the flashy "Hey, I was sitting here on a park bench waiting for you" scenes. So how can I skip time quickly?

When I save the game at home I think it passes 6 hours, so I'd need to do that 40 times and I've tried fast travel back and forth between the top of the map and the bottom of the map and even that only takes about 6 hours. R* could have scripted the game a bit better to have your character not change out of the epsilon robes.

This is what i did, also you don't need to save the game. Go to bed, get into save screen; cancel, repeat.

Epsilon missions are kinda poorly designed.

The only way to do this quickly is to keep playing with Michael and let him sleep I'm afraid.. You don't have to save the game doing that though, just hit Esc when he goes to bed and the time will pass on anyway, at least saving you the time it requires to overwrite those savefiles.

Ahh, cool, that's what annoyed me, having to save each time. Good to know I can exit out and repeat :)

I think I did a lot of the letter scrap collectibles with Michael in his robes.

Sleeping and skipping the save screen has more uses:
--trying to get the perfect point to sell your stocks during Lester's Assassinations
--doing the Golden Peyote hunt, requiring certain weekdays
--getting a weekly call from the taxi depot for Franklin's Private Fares

If you need to skip faster, Trevor sleeps 8 hours.

bear in mind trevor sleeps 12 hours which is 6 hours more than Michael and 4 more than franklin
