Is FiveM Safe?

The thing I always hated about in GTA V are the tryhards, and I was hoping the FiveM servers would remedy this problem, so I wanted to know if the FiveM mod is safe and won't get me banned

Not according to December 2017 when the policy got updated. But everyone does what they think is safe in life, once things start moving at their office you might end up being punished.

So then explain why R* and T2 have let FiveM become so popular and so widely used? If they actually gave a single toss about it they would have extinguished it over two years ago. why did they let openiv become so popular and used and then send a CD to them? we can't answer either of those questions but its a fact that rockstar has made it clear they don't want fivem operating.

They haven't made anything clear. Some generic legal "threat" doesn't clarify anything, especially since they haven't acted on it for years now.

It will get dealt with and some famous YTber or many would be made an example off for others out there.
They might be slow regarding the punishments but it will get issued at some point. And then you try to explain to people who you told it's safe to use and ended up banned will say back to you.

its only been 3 months since they updated the policy on unauthorized servers. These things take time. Time to gather evidence and time to appeal to a court. it could be a year before they do anything but they made it clear they have intentions to do something.
