Characters wont pull door shut?-old thread-

When they get in their car, they no longer close their doors.This recently just started happening, I tried reinstalling without mods and it still happens.I have to press esc to do so.

Mod files leftover could certainly be an issue. That said, my Online characters seem to dislike closing certain car doors. My main will almost never shut the door of his Sultan RS when he gets into it in the Garage, for example. It's always been that way, since I started playing 2 years ago.

Is there anyway to be 100% certain I got rid of all files aside from resetting my computer lol?

Thanks, I'll give this ago.It fixed itself for a while, now its back.

Have you fixed it? I've never installed any mods and this started happening too, so I think it may be some bug in the game itself

It fixed on its own, but started again, and waiting for them does not not work.As they never close it.The only way I can get them to close the door is if I press escape.

if you just tap f and let ur character walk to the car themselves, they will close it. if you hold sprint, the game thinks your in a rush so they dont close the door, same thing can happen just by holding w (not sure on this one think it only happens sometimes). basicly there if your trying to get away from something it makes it a little quicker, meaning you get away faster.

I know that r0tara, I play this game almost everday.I already tried that.That's what I'm saying, they don't close the door like they should when they get in.I press F, Franklin walks to the car, gets in, leaves the door open and starts the engine.I have to pause the game, then unpause it for him to close the door.Or just start driving and let the door swing shut by itself.

If you tap the gas and stop, they'll usually close it.
