lazer is best air figher if your plan is kill also enemies on ground. It got decent speed, good acceleration and agility and deathbeam. But against an equally skilled pilot driving a pyro, you lose.
Most of these awesome pilots you gonna encounter you could shoot down in Mammoth Dodo if you could use small arms while flying. Also PVP in freeroam is broken due to several things - passive, off radar & cheaters.
Mind that homming rockets are totally useless in this game against non stationary targets - which excludes dogfighting in the first place. You will rely on your MG, speed, agility, acceleration and smart tactics.
My first conclusion is - buying hangar & aircrafts for pure dog fighting is waste of time and money. My second conlusion is - pick the aircraft which you like unless you are rich boi and you can afford whatever you want to - in this case here is my ranking:
Dogfigting PVP:
1) Lazer
2) Pyro
3) Rogue
Combat allrounders:
1) Rogue
2) Hydra
3) Starling
PVE missions & running a buissness:
1) Hydra (solo)
2) Molotok (solo)
3) Rogue / Pyro (duel)
