Skip Story Mode?

I was interested in buying this game, and I'd like to ask: Can you skip the story and just roam around the world?I'm not interested in the story mode, but would like to mess around and have fun driving, shooting, swimming, etc. So, can I do this?Can i skip any story parts to just roam around the world freely?

You have to do the prologue at least. Then you could do something with Franklin, but you'd need to keep playing to unlock Michael and Trevor. But yes you can mod all you want after the prologue

what? theyre playing online which is completely different. r* put lots of hard work and im still surprised ppl havent played sp when its not that bad (ofc IV was better) but still.

Agreed

While IV's story was much better, it doesn't mean V's isn't good.

V's story is worth playing. More so if you like action movies and classic Hollywood. After all that is what the story was designed around

You need to do the prologue first (Like almost every GTA game after 3) then you need to do the 2nd mission to freeroam. Then you can do what you want but if you want a gun then do the next mission as you get a gun for free.

Change it again... GTA V is the first game with a prologue (meaning a long introduction before the main game starts). In GTA IV you drive Roman home and then to his taxi depot...

You can do whatever you want after first two missions. However, i recommend you to download an end game save file.

Some activities, protagonists, shops, new guns and car mods are unlocked after specific missions as you progress through game.

It may be a good decision for you, but my experience it is ♥♥♥♥. Half of the people who play this game don't know how to take cover, change weapon in same category or lose cops easily because damn online doesnt have a proper tutorial as devolopers though people play story before online. I am in a tunnel where we used one of the mission in the story, some stupid fool calls me i am using invisibility cheat. lol. At least get familiar with map using single player before diving into multiplayer mode you damn moron.

Those aren't even the main games I play.I don't play TF2 anymore and sword with sauce is just a fun little indie game.I don't know what you're so angry about.
