How to remove Script Hook?
So I installed Script-Hook like a year ago. Haven't played the game since then. I wanted to play the game again so I downloaded it and installed it. When I try to start the game a script-hook error appears saying something about a old version and the game crashes. I freshly installed the game. I even re-installed windows 10 a few days ago. WTF^^

I can't find anything even remotly connected to script-hook on my pc.

Uninstalling the game only removes files that came with the game when you installed them, leaving all modifications in your folder. If you get script hook error messages when trying to launch the game, then you still have script hook files in your game folder.

If you are getting scripthook errors... as mentioned - files still exist - somewhere.
If they aren't in your gtav folder, they could be in another path/system32 folder.
If they aren't there - they could be hidden/protected/not showing extensions.
If they aren't there - they are somewhere else... possibly other copy of gtav.
Use search scripthook on ENTIRE pc.

You don't magically get scripthook errors with no scripthook files on your computer.
(or other mods/dlls/files non-standard to gtav folder)

Be sure you removed them all - Mod removal instructions/picture for comparing if you need-

just remove the files that are scripthook v.dll - nataive trainer- and the dinput8.dll. all of these moved out.

You could try just deleting the GTA5 folder and starting fresh. The scripthook install shouldn't have placed any files other than in that folder. You could also open up the zip file you downloaded when you originally installed it and remove the files listed inside from the GTA5 folder. If you've installed the game on 2 different drives the original GTA5 folder will still exist and Steam might look at it when launching the game for some reason.... causing the error.

You also might have a mod you used the scripthook for that is trying to use it, so not just deleting the scripthook would solve the issue. Delete both GTA5 folders or figure out what you had installed and remove it. If you used a mod manager previously... try using that to uninstall what it finds.
