Akula thermal/night vision

The wiki says, that passengers using the Akula's back seats can use thermal/night vision. How do you activate it?
Also, is there no propper gun camera for the co-pilot as known from Hunter or Buzzard?

The gunner camera in the akula is broken, don't expect it to ever get fixed

I would guess the usual E button.
But if they're as broken as the gun camera, it probably doesn't work at all then.

Thx guys, I tried all the usual keys on kb and ctroler but could not find out how to turn on night or thermal vision.
