Global GUID PBHWID bans are for all the games with PB (bunk buster) . Some old games are discontinued and PB ignores to update them meaning if you get banned today you can still play games which aren't PB updated. You can still create accounts and log in the game, but as soon as you try to join a server it shows that global pb ban warning.

For a GUID ban to be "Global" across all games and GTA , you'd have to have to same exact GUID across all games. Since GUIDs are ALWAYS computed using CD key, the chance of you having the same GUID for any two games is astronomical.

But who knows maybe i'm wrong ^^

So FiveM uses bunk buster anticheat or what? Cant see it work another way.

I actually forgot about FiveM... Maybe I should reinstall GTA and just start playing that from now on. Don't give a crap if R* bans me from Online, it's dead to me lol.

I've even got a couple friends that have never even played Online once, they played the story a bit and the went straight into FiveM.

Rockstars empty threats against it are just that, empty. They learned (or at least they should have learned) after the OpenIV kerfuffle that it's not a good idea to start ♥♥♥♥ with large portions of the playerbase.

I wish people would move over to FiveM! GTA:O sucks horribly. Theres nothing to do despite rockstar claims there are so much to do. Heists get old quick, Loading screen after loading scree, Horrible lobbies of people, And KOS every corner with some kid and his rocket launcher or somebody using those tanks and ♥♥♥♥.

FiveM is great! Find the right server and its too good! Plus, Within some time in a few weeks or so, 64 player servers will be up and going too.

You can't get banned so i don't see why people think so. It doesn't mod the game at all, And it even shows in steam as 'in mod- fiveM' not some sort of steam hack using 'spaceinvaders' or w/e it was like cracked games would lol. FiveM works with it's own data directory, Streaming the mods basically, There for doesn't mod anything in the game its self or mess with anything other than one time verification to be sure you own GTA is all.

FiveM is dull at times, But its well worth playing. When people really RP its hilarious but also too good! The features of some of the servers really make it worth your time. From eating, drinking, wellness, jobs, and lots more! The character customization is the only thing i can complain about so far, It's clunky in lots of servers, missing textures, and so on.

If we had the same experience as GTA SAMP, Lawwwwwd we'd be in heaven right now with FiveM. lol We'll see that soon enough, I feel like recently FiveM is just now getting off the ground better, So more to come!

Might i add the only thing the mod uses but DOESNT modify is GTA:O Traffic AI. Other than that, People have no need to worry about a ban.

not pirated at all. gta lol sent private investigators to the fivem creators house and they got no charges so...yea. FiveM is fun if you like RP. It however isnt like GTA where everyone races around and kills whatever is there. I found FiveM by mistake watching videos of GTA and thank god because i was about to uninstall GTA. i run it on a pc and gotta be honest, every server i ever went to had 3-5 modders, a bunch of turds who fly around killing everyone and not having balls to do face to face combat. GTA is cancer, FiveM is fun...if you like RP.

It works like this. I look up your connected name. Ban your IP or name or w/e I like. You connect again threew the same IP or VPN which I will find, I will ban that too.

One of the main points of FiveM is the ability to have admin support which GTA:O does not have. But on here if I do see you doing funny crap you will bve banned. I like how those banned players go on the forums trying to get unbanned from FiveM servers. Ain't gonna happen. You might can mod in GTA:O but not in a dedicated server.

Main perk of having dedicated. We can ban idiots.

"Nothing to do" while there are 500+ different modes to play... "Can't get banned" while another player loves exactly that function = to ban other players from their server... There's a difference of prefering something over the other and blind fanboy'ism...
